Minor
可以enrichment year嗰年minor，其餘時間都唔得，因為你唔會有時間。mbbs個schedule唔係fixed嘅，
非常唔穩定，所以比較難會就到時間讀minor，而且有啲科係唔accept mbbs學生去reg添。
U Life
好睇你想要嘅ULIFE係啲咩，我覺得要做齊所謂大學五件事有啲難，除非你好chur得又唔洗訓覺。
不過如果你肯chur又唔係aim distinction，而且時間管理做得好的話，要做到部分都得嘅。
(朋友除左住hall之外做齊四樣:p )
想強調一下基本上year1係你唯一機會enjoy ulife因為佢認為year2已經好chur，之後clinical years就更加唔洗諗。
Year1只要你上堂，得閒溫下書，考試前一兩個月搏盡讀書係無問題嘅，佢識人住比較頹嘅hall+上莊；
亦有人住chur hall+拍拖，但就無上莊。
Any肥，讀得mbbs就預左要有犧牲㗎啦，唔會有好多時間黎enjoy ulife～
另外雖然我唔係日日都讀書，
但係呢個係讀醫必備嘅能力，因為基本上考試前一兩個月你都要咁樣過:0)
Enrichment year
基本上就係所有人(除咗postgrad)嘅3rd year都係類似gap year咁嘅嘢,
ie 用兩年讀完preclinical, 跟住enrichment year, 跟住入clinical years.
enrichment year你可以做嘅嘢有三大種, 你可以㨂faculty provide 嗰啲activity or 自己initiate/搵,
你可以成年做同一樣野亦都可以每個sem一個(depends on 你個activity嘅duration)
1. 讀書: 如果你成績夠好可以讀hku master
(eg master of public health, master of research), hea hea 地可以讀 minor甚至free electives.
如果想去外國可以去一個sem exchange 或者讀個intercalated degree (姐係讀一年拎個degree, 不過學費比較貴)
2. research attachment: 有local有外國
3. service / humanitarian work: faculty有同啲local NGO合作(?),
所以每個sem都有啲quota俾學生去NGO做placement/intern! 每間做嘅嘢都有啲唔同所以就唔喺度講啦,
如果想去外國我好似見過有啲係去落後國家嘅醫院, 跟AIESEC去service trip(?),
甚至可以上logos hope stay幾個月! or可以自己搵啲鍾意嘅機構去做service!
其實只要你吹到關事又fulfill到啲requirement, faculty都會approve
***不過非常重要嘅係faculty expect你可以’enrich’到自己同埋做啲嘢有貢獻,
所以佢唔會俾你去shadow醫生or去啲clinic度行行企企
Post Grad / Second Degree
最好first hon，朋友認識嘅十幾個post grad都係first hon，而且最好係science有關嘅科目例如bio med、pharm、pt，
另外都識一個係hku llb嘅。
2nd up唔清楚有無機會，應該要好有誠意同埋面試表現出色，不過都可以試下，因為每年mbbs其實都有好多post grad，例如今年yr1就有超過50個post grad。
留意翻post grad係要跟non-jupas 申請，要有心理準備會遲啲先有offer，因為會收曬jupas嘅人先。
ps post grad只係讀五年，係無enrichment year㗎！
I can help anonymously supplement some information - Second class honours is accepted, but it MUST be a high 2:1 honours. For instance, an average of 67% in the UK, or a GPA of 3.4-3.6 in HKU or the equivalent in other HK universities. For a low 2:1 bachelors degree honours, must do a MPhil or PhD or masters (with distinction) before there is a good chance of admission. And for now, it seems (albeit not certain) the trend seems to be that HKU is going to accept more second-degree medic (because the high school students are all going to CUHK for some reason).

無聽過有關既program，佢認為應該無，因為你夠高分的話可以直接報名，唔需要銜接。
你想讀master的話可以enrichment year申請，faculty會提供唔同選擇，連好勁既哈佛都有。
朋友請我幫佢戴翻個頭盔，因為佢話佢同其他同學都係aim 畢業+做醫生，所以無咩研究呢方面嘅嘢，
大學亦都無同佢地promote類似嘅program~
mbbs vs mbchb
利申我係mbbs, 所以講嘅嘢可能會bias!
畢竟隔離飯香LOL (不過我無後悔揀mbbs)
我有問過mbchb嘅人先答嘅希望會比較中立&詳盡T.T
1. 教學模式
- mbbs: 自主學習模式, professor唔會教晒所有嘢, 要自己google/睇senior notes/pp學。
- mbchb: 比較似中學，spoon feeding啲。
2. clinical in preclinical years (頭三年）
- mbbs: preclin 教學比較clinically oriented,
要讀pathology, microbiology, hematology, 亦有學clinical skills (eg IV drip抽血physical examination),
就咁睇已經feel 到MBBS preclin syllabus係chur唔少。
- mbchb: 比較focus on basic science, preclinical years 唔會掂咁多clinical嘢。
3. curriculum
- mbbs: system based：姐係一個個system咁學 (ie 花個幾月讀 GI system,
跟住 musculoskeletal system etc, 每個system block都會讀晒所有科related嘅topics)。
- mbchb: 跟科咁讀，例如anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology，
hemat patho micbio clinical years先會掂。
4. feel
- mbbs: 啲人話blue blood d? 讀書chur啲，professor會expect學生好勤力好聰明，
一定無cu咁warm, 比較似將來喺醫院嘅日子LOL。
感覺上都有幾多同學係家境唔錯 (不過都唔會玩唔埋嘅)
- mbchb: 超級warm, 每個人都會被編排到一個跟specialty命名嘅細組
(e.g. Anes, Embry, Onco), 通常都幾firm。
細組有professor跟做academic advisor， 通常好nice，會關心下你學業大學生活狀況。
5. churness & ulife
- mbbs: 預咗要sacrifice下㗎啦, 因為就算year1都已經幾chur,
不過都可以afford倒大學五件事嘅at least 4樣? 同埋唔住hall難啲識到其他科嘅人。
- mbchb: Year 1 超少lecture，好輕鬆，完全可以體驗Ulife，可以做齊大學五件事,
year 1 好free, 唔少人會上兩三支莊, 玩舞台劇(medegg)。
到year 2突然chur好多不過一定應付到, year 3舒服D
* mbbs chur嘅程度逐年增加, year 1 (esp sem2) 已經開始chur, 而mbchb會突然明顯地chur過之前嗰年。
6. enrichment year (EY) / gap year
- mbbs: year 3 compulsory EY (~gap year) 有一年時間可以exchange/做研究/讀master/做service/
讀其他科嘅嘢, 可以留喺香港/去外國
- mbchb: 無EY, 如果DY2的話其實可以take gap year 不過要chur讀書!
當然非DY2都得, 不過應該好少人會咁做
also! 建議想讀CU&夠分一定要報GPS!
不過其實講到尾, 讀邊間都係殊途同歸～
一樣有chur嘅時候, 一樣讀咁X多書督導爆肝, train出嚟嘅醫生一樣咁優秀!
最重要嘅係你係咪真係鍾意醫護依行, 因為唔似其他科, medicine係一世㗎, 真係諗清楚先好揀!!!!!!
